Am always amazed by the adrenaline that fills this urban population when Friday approaches. This is usually the time when you receive texts from all the friends, the lost ones and the broke ones asking for mpango. I can’t tell exactly where the thirst of partying and the psych of engaging in night activity comes from but one thing i do know is that Monday will be filled with curses, regrets, headache, sleep and counting losses.
I took a drive and lonely night strolls in famous hideouts of the city and the kind of things i saw is not only shocking but “threatening shocking”. I wasn’t looking for anything, forgive your creative mind, but I just wanted to explore and see for my self.
THE FAMOUS KOINANGE STREET: I couldn’t see much on this street and my expectations were shattered. I thought this is the street where I will sum up all the wickedness of the town but it wasn’t all that bad. or what happened to the “Glory” of this street? A friend told me they went online. I expected to see all the free souls exposing more than the pedestrian eyes should see… I expected to see exceptional first class dark world petite beauty roaming and hungry for attention from team mafisi but alas! There was one who approached the road from the junction at lifestyle… I felt like i should give her the link to Njoki Chege’s article… How does one get attracted to that! #round
